The technology weighs a total of 50 grams, which is about 25% the weight of a smartphone, and is discreetly integrated to ensure the garment feels natural and comfortable during wear.

Up to 1 month if used 20 times, every day of the month. If usage is less frequent, one charge can last up to 6 months. The system is specifically designed for power efficiency and can be recharged from 0% to 100% overnight.

No. The module is integrated into the structure of the garment and weighs less than a wallet. It is designed to disappear until you choose to use it.

For pairing and setup, yes. For immediate sending of messages, notes, and reminders, yes.If the paired smartphone is out of range, the garment can still function offline by storing the notes locally. Then, when the smartphone is back within range, at which point the data is automatically transferred to the app.

No subscription is currently required to use the core functionality of the garment and app.

Yes. The garment is safe to wear while traveling and may be checked or carried onto flights. It can pass through airport security scanners in the same way as a smartphone.

Dry clean only, in accordance with the instructions provided in the companion smartphone app. Do not machine wash or hand wash. For garments worn regularly, professional dry cleaning is recommended approximately once every two months.

Your data is stored locally within the app on your device, within the Apple ecosystem. Your data is not stored on our servers, which means if the app is deleted, all associated data is deleted as well.

All data is encrypted at the source before transmission. Encrypted data is transferred to your phone via secure Bluetooth and handled within the iOS privacy framework. When messages or actions require external delivery, encrypted payloads are routed through our secure server infrastructure, which does not have access to plaintext content and does not retain data after execution.

Divine FAQ

How do I buy a piece?

Purchasing a Divine piece requires completing an application to ensure the right alignment between wearer and garment. Applications can be submitted in advance or during a release. Approved clients receive a private invitation before public collections are announced.

How do I get a bespoke piece?

We create only a handful of bespoke pieces per year. Each one takes months of design and prototyping, and is reserved for those who align with Divine’s values. To inquire, contact allocations@divine.design.

When are new pieces released?

We release new work in capsules which contain limited allocations for a limited set of SKUs. Approved members may be invited privately, and our public email list will be notified at time of release.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Production typically takes 2-3 months. Each collection is different and each piece is made to order. Timelines vary based on design complexity, fitting requirements, and delivery region.

How does the fitting process work?

Each piece is tailored to your exact measurements to ensure optimal comfort and performance. You’ll complete a digital measurement profile or be scheduled for an in-person session. We partner with tailors in most major cities.

Is the technology visible?

No. All components are embedded within the structure of the garment, between fabric layers. They are not visible or accessible and preserve the silhouette and elegance of the design.

Can I request a custom feature or design?

Yes. Custom features such as monograms, accent materials, specialized hardware, or unique textures can be added for an additional fee. You’ll work directly with our design team to bring your vision to life.

Where are Divine garments made?

All garments are handmade by our artisan team in Bali. Technology is designed and assembled in San Francisco, then seamlessly integrated into the garments in Bali.

What materials are used in Divine garments?

We use a blend of local and premium natural materials, combining traditional Balinese techniques like tumanggal and batik with imported silks, wools, and performance textiles.

How do I wash the garment?

Divine garments should be dry cleaned only. Your purchase includes semi-annual dry cleaning service, and on-demand cleanings are available directly through Divine.

What is Divine's return policy?

All Divine pieces are made to order and handcrafted with embedded technology. As such, all sales are final. If your piece requires adjustments, our team will work with you to make the necessary alterations.

Can I visit the studio?

Our pieces are designed and crafted in Bali. If you’re visiting, studio tours can be arranged on special occasions.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

ALL SALE Items & Items bought with a DISCOUNT CODE are FINAL SALE. No returns, no exchanges, no store credit.

If your piece has any manufacturing issues, we will accept the piece for an exchange or a store credit if you contact us within 7 days of your receipt.

We accept exchanges or store credit only because creating our pieces are time-consuming, and your piece(s) was made with much care and intention for you.

This order is an offer upon the terms below that cannot be withdrawn by Buyer prior to the cancellation date. It shall be a binding contract.

 This order is subject to the approval of Buyer’s credit at the time of shipment by Seller and/or its factor. The seller or its factor may, at any time and from time to time, in its sole discretion, limit or cancel of the Buyer as to time and amount, and as a consequence, may require anticipation or demand payment in C.O.D. (cash on delivery/money order/cashier’s check) of any untitled portion of this order. International customers must make payment(s) via bank wire transfer(s) and/or credit card.

All orders will be accepted regardless of delays or non-delivery caused by reasons beyond our control.

If any provision of this agreement is held to be unlawful, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between parties and supersedes all prior negotiations or agreements between the parties concerning its subject matter. This agreement is intended as the FINAL, COMPLETE, and EXCLUSIVE statement of the terms between parties.

No waiver, amendment, or modification of this agreement by Buyer shall be effective unless in writing and signed as accepted by Seller. No failure or delay by Seller in exercising any right, power or remedy shall operate as a waiver or the right, power, or remedy. No waiver of any term, condition, or default of this agreement by Seller shall be construed as a waiver as of any other term condition or default.

This agreement is deemed to be drafted jointly by both parties. Both parties acknowledge that failure of Seller to perform may cause Buyer to incur costs not contemplated by this agreement and that the amounts of such costs are extremely difficult and impracticable to fix. Seller shall therefore NOT be liable for any consequential damages whatsoever.

Past due charges may be applied at the rate of 11% per month on any invoices that remain unpaid within the terms set forth of this order.

This order IS NOT cancelable unless requested to and accepted by seller in writing within five (5) days of the date of this order. Seller is not responsible for calling buyer before ship date unless there is a problem with order(s).

All claims must be made within 5 days of receipt of goods. NO RETURNS are accepted without the Seller’s prior written permission. Seller WILL NOT issue refunds, only exchange within the first 30 days from delivery date. Buyer will pay a 15% restocking per item returned.

Seller accepts credit card, bank wires, and checks from the Buyer as form of payment for this order.

Seller has the right to request from the buyer 50% production down payment on all orders. Seller has the right to retain the deposit upon any breach of this agreement by the buyer. Any attempt to cancel contract after the allotted time is an express breach of this agreement.
